Richmond Times-Dispatch

Richmond Times-DispatchWith a circulation of more than 117,000 daily and topping 166,000 on Sundays, the Richmond Times-Dispatch provides the largest audience reach of any print publication in Central Virginia. Beyond it's award-winning news, features, sports, entertainment and commentary, The Times-Dispatch creates a variety of specialty sections throughout the year designed to help you target specific reader interests and/or geographic locations.

Here are a few reader and advertiser favorites:

Metro Biz Richmond Times-DispatchMETRO BUSINESS — This MONDAY section highlights local business features, news, professional announcements, events and more.

Richmond HomesHOMES — This SATURDAY Real Estate section houses interesting and important information about home buying and selling, along with features about area neighborhoods, builders, developers and other real estate professionals. The latest real estate classified listings are included, too.

RTD Celebrations 2012CELEBRATIONS! — Referred to as the "good news section," Celebrations' full-color pages showcase weddings, engagements and other celebratory content, as well as popular promotional features about area businesses. Celebrations publishes in each week's SUNDAY Times-Dispatch.

RTD New Homes April 2012NEW HOMES - The New Homes section began running in February, and the results have been outstanding. This special section in the SUNDAY Times-Dispatch features stunning pictures of new properties, educational copy for prospective homebuyers and beautiful design.
Feedback from local builders has been exceptional (one said he didn’t know if he wanted to reappear in the section because he didn’t know if he could handle the foot traffic his first run generated.)
Each advertiser receives a run in The Times-Dispatch’s most popular weekly edition and a robust digital package that includes banner impressions, a digital sticky and their story on TimesDispatch.com. The story is also sent out via our e-mail blast to reach as many eyes as possible.
Sounds like a great way to reach potential homebuyers.

DISCOVER RICHMOND - From long-time residents to newcomers and visitors, Discover Richmond is the must-have ANNUAL MAGAZINE about all things Richmond. The photo-rich magazine is chock full of up-to-date features on the region's plentiful offerings of fine places to live, work, play, learn, shop, dine, worship, celebrate and explore. The award-winning magazine makes its 2012 debut on Sunday, MAY 20. (Scroll down the page for more Discover Richmond details.)

RTD Richmond Drives 2012RICHMOND DRIVES - Like other cities, Richmond is filled with car dealerships. The challenge facing these businesses is how to differentiate from competitors. One excellent option: Richmond Drives, a weekly feature that profiles area dealerships, their cars and their employees. Each Friday, the feature appears in The Times-Dispatch and gives dealers a chance to connect with the public.

For example, the April 13 story featured Jud Dauray, parts and service director at Pearson Mitsubishi. The piece offered insight into Dauray’s background, expertise and hobbies and gave him a chance to discuss what makes Pearson Mitsubishi an excellent source for local car buyers.

The story also can run with a deck ad for the featured dealership, which allows the business to generate interest and revenue. Richmond Drives is a strong example of why partnering with The Times-Dispatch makes sense for local businesses.
